How do I get to the Minneapolis International Hostel?

For adults, fares range between $1.25 - $2.50 US. Seniors, youth and persons with disabilities have reduced rates. Buses accept $1 bills and U.S. coins, including $1 coins. Bus fare boxes and drivers cannot make change. If you pay your fare in cash and you need to travel on more than one bus to reach your destination, ask the driver for a transfer when you pay your fare. Your transfer is good for unlimited rides in any direction for up to 2-1/2 hours (does not apply to Downtown Zone fares).

Bus from downtown Minneapolis - Nicollet Mall (pedestrian & bus only).

Get on Bus #17 or #18 Southbound. Get off at the intersection of 24th Street & Nicollet. Walk east two blocks. The Minneapolis International Hostel is on your right, on the southwest corner of 2400 Stevens Avenue South and 24th Street.

Bus from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis Campus.

Make your way to Washington Avenue. Get on Bus #2 Westbound - you will be heading toward downtown Minneapolis. Get off at the intersection of Franklin Avenue & Stevens. Walk south two blocks to 24th Street. The Minneapolis International Hostel is on your right hand side, on the southwest corner of Stevens Avenue South Bus #2 Schedule & Map

Bus from Minneapolis / St Paul International Airport

Get on the light rail train and ride it to the Downtown/Nicollet Mall Station. Get off the light rail and take the #17 or #18 southbound bus to Nicollet and 24th St. (see above directions from downtown Minneapolis for further details).

Super Shuttle from Minneapolis / St Paul International Airport

The Super Shuttle offers convenient airport shuttle service to and from the airport and a 25 mile radius to include: Minneapolis and northern suburbs, St. Paul and eastern suburbs, Bloomington and southern/western suburbs. Our hostel is within that radius. The fare is $14 one way per person. Reservations are not required. After claiming your luggage, follow signs to the Ground Transportation Center (lower level), then follow the signs to the Hotel Shuttle Service area (up one level). Super Shuttle is conveniently located inside the terminal near the Hotel Shuttle Service boarding area. Look for the blue and white vans. They provide 24 hour service.
